Sachsen Pokal in Markranstädt …

With the minimum of fuss the SFV have switched Blau Weiß Leipzigs Sachsen Pokal fixture from Saturday August 1 to Friday July 31st.
And from Leipzig to Markranstädt.

We hope that this isn’t going to become a trend, this short notice changing of venues 😉

And we must sadly report that RB have decided to conform to sächsiche norms and now refer to the competion as the Landespokal.

Shame, we  were clooking forward to a wonderful new book on “Red Bull and the orthography of football in the former DDR”
